OUR FUTURE

The future of Bethel Baptist Church is as bright as our Saviour’s promises.  Bethel Baptist Church was started as a soul winning outreach to the Swedish members of Manistique’s community.  In the 40’s Bethel Baptist Church was one of the pioneers in the bus ministry.  Today our heartbeat is for the souls of men and women.  We look forward to God’s blessing as we fulfill our commitment to the Word of God and to the Saviour who gave Himself for us.  While others might cast aside the timeless principles of God’s Word, we will continue to contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints.  Our vision is clear as we look to our Lord and hear Him say, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  Our marching orders are set as Christ directed, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”  This is an exciting time period in which we live.  God has opened many great doors of opportunity to proclaim the gospel.  While many within Christianity have lost their first love and their faith has departed, we are determined to stay in love with our Saviour and to be faithful to His Word.  We look forward to serving others and meeting the spiritual needs in their lives.
