H. P. Peterson

1888-1889

H. P. Peterson arrived in December 1888 from Manistee, to serve the

Church during the winter months.  With his arrival, the church took on

a new enthusiasm for the work. Everyone now seemed to be interested

in building the church.  Besides Brother  H.  P. Peterson who was the

inspiration of the undertaking, Peter Nilson greatly assisted in the work,

also John A. Falk who not only gathered funds, but worked early and late

on the construction.  H. P. Peterson left the early part of the summer of 1889.
