Jacob Peterson
1910-1914
Rev. Jacob Peterson became the next pastor. He and F.C. Hamlin had traveled as Evangelists for the U.P. Conference during the summer of 1909. In this way a mutual acquaintance was established, and a call was extended to him which he accepted. He commenced his work here April 10,1910 and served until January 15th, 1914. The cooperative work between the Church and the pastor was carried on with enthusiastic energy. During his ministry, the Evangelist Freeman and Dahlquist each held a series of revival meetings with unusually good success. Rev. Peterson was an earnest, serious soul-winner who first, last and always had his heart set on winning others for Christ. He resigned to accept the pastorate of the Elim Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
