Theodore Grandin
1914-1918
Now once more the church was without a pastor and was led to call Theodore Grandin, who accepted and was welcomed April 5, 1914. During his ministry and with the cooperation of the fine family, many of the children of the church members were led to accept Christ and joined to the church. Rev. Grandin was a good preacher and church leader, with a very pleasant voice. At this time the church celebrated the Thirtieth Anniversary. Rev. Grandin’s pastorate terminated after four years and one month lavor in this field. On May 1, 1918 he left to serve the Swedish Baptist Church at Cadillac, Michigan, and after a lingering illness this man of peace went to receive his reward.
